Play together

Put on a live, improvised show with your friends

A Watch Party is a story game for a group. One of you directs, an AI cast improvises the scene, and everyone watches the same beats arrive on their own phone or computer. Anyone can step into a character and say their lines, then hand the part back. It holds up to ten people, host included, and it’s free for everyone but the host.

How a Watch Party works

From the invite to the final curtain

01

Start a show for your group

Pick a cast and give them a situation. Your group gets a private room for the performance.

02

Bring your friends

Invite friends into your group, or send a link to someone new. They join free from their own phone or computer, with nothing to install.

03

One directs, everyone watches

The director cues the next beat and everyone watches it land, with a chat beside the stage for reactions. The director calls Final Curtain when the show is done.

04

Take a part

Anyone can step into an available character and write exactly what they say, then hand the part back.

Why it plays well with a group

Everyone in the same show

The cast plays off each other

Characters talk to one another, not just to you, so the scene can take a turn nobody in the room planned.

A seat for everyone

Take a character when one is free, or sit back and enjoy the show. Nobody has to perform to be part of it.

No prep needed

The cast improvises every scene, so nobody writes a script or learns lines. Show up and play.

Reactions have a home

Side talk goes in the chat beside the stage, so the performance itself stays clean.

Watch a Watch Party

A short tutorial follows friends into a show, from the invite to playing a character together.

Want a game with a goal?

Quests are a solo challenge: steer the cast toward a goal in a limited number of cues, and Colombina, the house critic, tells you how it landed.

Questions about Watch Party

How many people can join?

Up to ten people can be in a Watch Party.

Who pays?

Only the person who starts the show needs a plan or a soldi pack. Watching, chatting and taking a part are free.

Do my friends need an account?

Yes, a free one. Canovaccio is for adults eighteen and over, and available in the United States for now.

Do we need to be in the same room?

No. Everyone joins from their own phone, tablet or computer.

Can the rating change mid-show?

No. The room’s rating is set when the show starts, so everyone sees the same performance.

Can a friend make a character say anything?

Every line a friend writes for a character is checked first, so the room stays the show you agreed to.
